Here is my another attempt to simulate multilayer cloth in Houdini, this time it is Victorian-style dress simulation created using Vellum , dress is designed in Marvelous Designer (by Natalija Jagarinec) and Rendered with Renderman for Houdini. Stay tuned for the upcoming version featuring hair simulation and grooming. I am also seeking free motion capture files, especially dance-related, to further explore different clothing styles with varied motions so that I can attempt to push the boundaries of digital fashion simulation.
